About Rita Wood

Conceptual Development–I listen to you first

I begin the creative process with research. Absorbing your strategies, objectives, past data and future directions. I look at what your competitors have done. Ideas that worked, and the ones that didn’t, and why. I take all of this information, and use it to create a link to your audience.

A clear and consistent message promotes brand loyalty.

Art Direction–The watchful creative eye

The concept is approved. What will it take to get it going in the right direction? Dedication, consistency,
experience and let’s not forget talent. I am not turning your job over to less experienced (and less expensive) people as advertising agencies often do. I am always personally involved. From finding the perfect writer or photographer to making sure each and every page stays true to your message, whether it’s a simple 4-fold brochure or a catalog of 100+ pages.

The art director is always in.

Graphic Design–Standing out

What good is a great concept if it doesn’t get noticed? A great concept requires a great follow through.
I take your concept and develop the typography, colors and images that complement the message. Nothing tricky or hard to understand, just good clean graphic design. I love your input and provide PDF proofing every step of the way.

Change is good.

Image Editing–When cows fly

Need a photo for your product launch, but don’t have the product yet? No problem. That cruise ship needs to be sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge but it’s never been anywhere near there? No problem. Need to put your logo somewhere or on something? No problem. Have a wild idea, but it doesn’t exist? No problem.

Dream it, I can make it.

Photo Direction–Giving it your best shot

I work with only the most talented photographers to put your products in the best possible light. I work
closely with the photographer to provide shoot scheduling and budget, model selection, proofs and
press-ready digital images.

Make the right impression.

Project Management–Staying on schedule and on budget

I work with you to develop a project schedule and I stick to it. I will discuss any changes to the project
ahead of time and make adjustments as needed. I also make every effort to stay within a pre-established budget guideline. I keep everything running smoothly. It’s as simple as that.

No surprises.

Computer Production–Files that output perfectly

What good is a great concept and great design if the files won’t output? No junior here. I work in InDesign, Photoshop, Quark or Illustrator to create meticulous digital media that will output perfectly every time.

What you see is what you get.
